Not Manhattan

  • Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Welcome to Williamsburg, a place full of hipsters and people in their 20’s and 30’s. We live here, we love it. This guide is full of our favorite places to eat, organized by category. Fun fact: the ‘stair step’ building in this photo is where we live.

  • Long Island City, Queens

Long Island City is about 10/15 minutes via a car/taxi from Williamsburg, this is where the wedding is happening (The Bordone LIC) and is conveniently located by multiple subways to head straight into Manhattan.

  • DUMBO, Brooklyn

DUMBO - stands for Down Under Brooklyn Manhattan Overpass. This is a great neighborhood (but can be full of tourists) that allows you to walk right over the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan.

  • Greenpoint, Brooklyn

Greenpoint makes Williamsburg look like they don’t know hipsters. Greenpoint is walkable from Williamsburg and nestled between Williamsburg and Long Island City. Not many hotels, but awesome places to eat.

  • Redhook, Brooklyn

Visit Redhook - don’t stay here. This neighborhood is farther out in Brooklyn, and home to some outstanding places to eat and drink. It shouldn't be your hub of accommodations as it’s not near much public transit.
